Session Description: Not too much, just right!” is the mantra for Lagom. This lifestyle philosophy, from the fourth happiest country in the world, is based on harmony, moderation, and self-advocacy. Finding and living Lagom, an optimum state of living, is personal and different for everyone. While in Sweden, Jan interviewed individuals to talk about what Lagom meant to them, and she had the opportunity to witness it in everyday life. This comes after a decade of researching and speaking on work/personal life balance, a problem for so many Americans. Jan will talk about how we can incorporate Lagom into our work, relationships, our home and office environment, and our sustainability practices to experience a happier, more productive existence while improving balance, and finding greater joy in all we do.
This session does not offer Continuing Education Units.
