Creating a narrative in Recreation is essential. This session will look into the craft of creating a narrative within Recreation. Whether it is a playground project or staff raises, this session aims to help participants craft their next narrative necessary for success. This session will offer many examples for crafting a narrative for staff improvements, program enhancements, capital projects, etc. This session will tap into a recreation career's successes and failures spanning two non-profits and two municipalities.
Brason has been creating narratives to improve Recreation for communities for over 21 years. This includes his first narrative, a radio contest from a Major League Baseball club to renovate a local baseball field. Brason has over 25 years of experience in Recreation, a Doctorate in Public Administration, a Master's in Coaching and Athletic Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in History.
