Session Description: The CDC's Model Aquatic Health Code (MAHC) recommends that aquatic facilities have a well written, detailed Safety Plan. As more and more States are adopting the Model Aquatic Health Code or elements of the code, it is becoming increasingly clear that Aquatic Leaders be proactive and develop a Safety Plan specific to their aquatic facility. This session will provide an overview of the Safety Plan and its components. Participants will leave the session with the tools and resources needed to develop a Safety Plan for their facility.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand the purpose and importance of having a well written and detailed safety plan for their aquatic facility.
