CPRS JEDI Roundtable: Grants & Federal Funding Considerations

Description: Join members of the CPRS JEDI Counsel for a come-as-you-are roundtable discussion about grants & federal funding considerations in light of recent executive orders. We’ll also hear from a California agency participating in NRPA’s Supporting Healthy Aging Through Parks and Recreation (SHAPR) Grant. They will share firsthand insights on new restrictions on the awarded funds regarding diversity, equity, and inclusion, and gender ideology programs, personnel, or activities. The discussion will be followed by an open forum for participants to discuss what they’re observing, planning, and considering in their own agencies. Our goal is to help each other identify potential pivots and strategies to adapt to these evolving guidelines.
