Recreation Section Intensive: Positive Motivation Leading with Empathy

Session Description: With the cultural and emotional challenges that have come from this pandemic, whether that be the uncertainty of company infrastructure or the isolation of remote work, never has the need to create a positive work environment that promotes mental well-being been more important. If you think your managers and your organization could benefit from the efficacy of the behavioral concepts taught in this leadership workshop.

This session is part of the Recreation Section Intensive which is a ticketed event.

Learning Objectives:

  • Improved ability to work as part of a team, greater personal resilience, and an increased capacity to bounce back from mistakes.
  • Participants will learn new techniques and skills to coach their staff and lead those staff to serve their community in aspects of sports, programs and leaderships
  • Participants will go through the aspects of "Caring Climate". This teaches is how to create an inviting, psychologically safe, supportive and valued experience for training.
