Emily Perez has a 10-year-long career in Parks, Recreation, and Community Services. She earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science/International Affairs from the University of California, Riverside, and began her career in her hometown of Tustin as a high school volunteer and was later hired as a Recreation Coordinator. While in Tustin, Emily was concurrently employed by the City of Anaheim to support the volunteer and marketing programs within the Community Services Department. She has been with the City of Anaheim for a total of six years and currently serves as a Community Services Supervisor overseeing the Neighborhood Services Section. In this role, she manages the vital operations of the section by fostering community engagement, enhancing neighborhood livability, and building strong relationships with residents to improve the quality of life in Anaheim.
